“2023 Grech Strada Ion 90 day review. Love my new Gree AC unit, its so quite!!! The heat pump and dehumidifier are just bonuses. However I will say this before you attempt the upgrade check with Firefly Integrations (574.825.4600) before the install so you have the latest software version and installation instructions for you touch panels. That way everything will work properly right from the start.”
“Very happy with customer service, second very fast shipment, I installed it myself and it was very easy, very quiet and looks awesome, I am very happy with my product."
"I am simply blown away at how quiet this thing is. Insane compared to the Coleman Mach we had before."
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 13 reviews.
Easy Peazy with Victorias instructions and photo that she sent. If in doubt, put that behind you! It’s a quick and easy upgrade!!!

Once I got clarification from customer support on whether to leave the factory capacitor in place the installation was easy. I can run the unit with my small generator without issue.
With a break in the heat ,we were able to get the new unit installed. It runs ultra quiet as advertised. Install was not difficult. Camper running 78 degrees at 100 ambient. I'll have to add a thermostat to run my propane furnace as the new unit's t-stat has no function for it ,where it was wired into the dometic wiring at roof. I installed the soft start on top of units electrical box using the supplied 3M adhesives. Doing this covered the electrical schematic label but it was a nice flat surface that didnt block any airflow. Perhaps that artwork could be manufactured on the inside of the electrical box cover vise the outside. I did not use the supplied foam pieces stacked as divider between return and supply. They were too short . I opted to build a divider wall with 1 inch styrofoam covered with aluminum duct tape. Turned out niice. The black exterior cover was changed to a white cover . While black looks more elegant. I did not want the Sun bake heat absorbtion taxing the condensor, compressor and electronics. The new cover is missing the artwork labeling. Perhaps that can be supplied so I can represent. All in all the task wasnt to bad and I was super impressed with the attention to detail and quality look under the exterior cover. A/C been running non stop since saturday _lovin it
The Premier Eco Cool Air-conditioner with heat pump works really well. Both the AC and heater are excellent. The main reason I purchased the Eco Cool was their reputation for being super quiet and their reputation is well deserved. We have a 2023 Grech Turismo Ion, which came with a Dometic AC. It worked really well, but was very loud. With the Eco Cool, my wife and can have a conversation without yelling. Also its nice to a secondary form of heat, I think this will be our primary heating source. I drove to Elkhart IN, from the Washington D.C. area to have it installed. Excellent install job and product. I highly recommend Eco Cool.

Works with the AC. Installation requires electrical knowledge as the wire colors of the AC do not match up exactly with the wire colors of this soft start. Customer service again was great!

Pleased with the ease of installation and performance of the soft start, which lets me operate the Gree Eco Cool using my Xantrex 2000 inverter and lithium battery without the generator running. Thrilled with the new capability. Two comments: 1) I wish this was an option when I purchased the Gree Eco Cool so it would have come pre-installed. 2) It took me a few minutes to determine I did not have the startup capacitor, and Gree could have simplified this by simply saying that their base units do not come with a startup capacitor.

Wiring is easy and the provided terminals made installation better. It was convenient that these could be added on top of the controller box on the AC unit.

The soft start for the eco-cool was easy to install, and worked just fine with my 2 KW inverter and batteries. But most importantly, the team is informative and easy to work with. Every time I call, I get a real person. Keep up the excellent work!

Quiet operation
Easy to order, we had a couple of questions, and the staff was amazing answered each question and made sure to respond quickly.
Support and instructions were easy to follow, looks great and in my test run performed well. This is in a brand new unit just wanted to upgrade to a heat pump. (DIY)
